5-Minute Morning Yoga

A gentle five-minute sequence to wake up the body and focus the mind.

Overview

Light movement after waking raises core temperature, restores breathing depth, and improves attention. One mat. Stop if pain or dizziness occurs.

  • Sets intention for the day

5-Minute Sequence

  1. Diaphragmatic breathing ×6
  2. Cat–Cow ×6 cycles
  3. Down Dog ×5 breaths
  4. Low lunge L/R ×5 breaths
  5. Chair ×3 → Forward fold ×3
  6. Standing twist L/R ×3
  7. Mountain pose ×3 breaths
